Charles (Char) Weise, Professor of Economics and Chair of Public Policy, at Gettysburg College, will give a brief presentation on the “Trump” economy and its likely impact.
State Representative, Torren Ecker (R-193) has also accepted an invitation to spend a few minutes with us to tell us why he is running for Judge of the Court of Common Pleas rather than continuing to serve the voters in Harrisburg.
We’ll also hope to hear from School Board Candidates, and plan to endorse slates from the 5 school districts.
Saturday, July 19th, Noon-1:00 p.m.
The People’s Rally on Lincoln Square. This weekly event has been a great opportunity to keep sane and grounded, connecting with friends and neighbors, standing on the front lines to protest the cruel, hapless, and irresponsible actions of this President, his Administration, and the U.S. Congress. I have observed over the past month or so, that the opposition is getting more vocal, and in some cases aggressive. The mediators walking around in green vests are most appreciated.
